Day 1: Arrival & Patan Durbar Square Exploration

    • Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Patan (around 30 minutes from Tribhuvan International Airport).
    • Check-in at your hotel in Patan.
  • Afternoon:
    • Explore Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and marvel at the Newari architecture.
    • Visit the Krishna Mandir and other temples in the square.
  • Evening:
    • Dine at a traditional Newari restaurant like The Patan Museum Café.

Day 2: Patan Cultural and Spiritual Tour

  • Morning:
    • Visit the Patan Museum to learn about Nepalese art and history.
    • Explore the Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (Golden Temple) and its intricate carvings.
  • Afternoon:
    • Head to Kumbeshwar Temple, a five-story pagoda-style temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
    • Walk through the vibrant local markets to experience daily life in Patan.
  • Evening:
    • Relax and enjoy traditional music or cultural shows at your hotel or nearby venues.

Day 3: Day Trip to Bungamati and Khokana

  • Morning:
    • Take a short drive to Bungamati, a traditional Newari village, and visit the Rato Machhendranath Temple.
  • Afternoon:
    • Explore Khokana, another Newari village famous for its mustard oil production and cultural charm.
    • Enjoy a local Newari lunch in one of the village eateries.
  • Evening:
    • Return to Patan and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Explore Nearby Kathmandu Attractions

  • Morning:
    • Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.
    • Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Afternoon:
    • Visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu site, and observe the spiritual rituals along the Bagmati River.
    • Tour the serene Boudhanath Stupa, a key Buddhist pilgrimage site.
  • Evening:
    • Return to Patan and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

 

Day 5: Relaxation & Departure

  • Morning:
    • Take a leisurely walk around Patan’s traditional alleys, visit Rudra Varna Mahavihar, or shop for souvenirs like handicrafts and pottery.
  • Afternoon:
    • Check out from your hotel and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure.
