    • Arrive in Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, known as the "Scotland of the East."
    • After breakfast, depart for Dawki, which is approximately a 3-hour drive from Shillong (approximately 80 km).
  • Afternoon:
    • Arrive in Dawki and check-in to your hotel or guest house.
    • Visit the Umngot River, renowned for its crystal-clear waters. Take a boat ride to experience the river's stunning transparency and scenic beauty.
  • Evening:
    • Visit the Dawki Bridge to witness the beautiful sunset view over the river.
    • Explore the surrounding areas, enjoy the serene environment, and return to your accommodation for the night.
  • Morning:

    • Have breakfast and proceed to explore the surrounding natural beauty.
    • Visit the Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding hills.
  • Afternoon:

    • Head to Shnongpdeng Village, a quiet, picturesque location on the banks of the Umngot River. You can enjoy a swim in the river or relax by the banks.
    • Visit the nearby Jowai, a charming town located around 30 km from Dawki, where you can explore more local culture, food, and scenic beauty.
  • Evening:

    • Return to Dawki in the evening, explore the local market, and enjoy some traditional Khasi cuisine.
    • Overnight stay at Dawki.

    • After breakfast, check-out from your accommodation and begin your drive back to Shillong.

  • By Air: The nearest airport to Dawki is Shillong Airport (Umroi), which is about 35 km away. Alternatively, you can fly to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati and then drive to Dawki, which is around 160 km away.

  • By Train: The nearest major railway station is Guwahati Railway Station. From there, you can take a cab or bus to Dawki.

  • By Road: Dawki is well-connected by road, and you can reach it from Shillong (about 80 km), which is a major transport hub in Meghalaya. Buses and taxis regularly ply this route.
