Day 1: Arrival and Fort Kochi Exploration

  • Arrive at Cochin International Airport and check into your hotel.
  • Visit Fort Kochi, known for its colonial architecture, including St. Francis Church (the oldest European church in India) and the historic Santa Cruz Basilica.
  • Take a stroll along the Chinese Fishing Nets, a unique fishing method still in practice. Enjoy the sunset at Fort Kochi Beach.

Day 2: Mattancherry and Jew Town

  • Explore the historic Mattancherry area, home to the famous Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) and Jewish Synagogue.
  • Wander through Jew Town, known for its antique shops, spice markets, and the aroma of fresh spices.

Day 3: Backwaters and Munambam Beach

Day 5: Kochi’s Contemporary Art and Departure

  • Explore Kochi-Muziris Biennale (if visiting during the event) or visit contemporary art galleries like Kashi Art Gallery and Pepper House.
  • Visit Willingdon Island, a man-made island housing various heritage buildings and luxurious resorts.
  • Depart for your onward journey.
