Day 1: Departure & Arrival at Gangasagar

Noon:

  • 11:30 AM: Arrival at the ferry terminal near Namkhana.
  • 12:00 PM: Embark on the ferry to cross the river to reach Sagar Island (Gangasagar).
  • 1:00 PM: Arrival at Sagar Island and check-in at the accommodation (hotel/campsites organized by the company).

Afternoon:

  • 1:30 PM: Lunch (local cuisine arranged by the company).
  • 2:30 PM: Rest and freshen up.

Evening:

  • 4:00 PM: Visit the famous Gangasagar Temple, dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Kapil Muni.
  • 6:00 PM: Enjoy the sunset at Sagar Beach.
  • 7:00 PM: Return to accommodation.
  • 8:00 PM: Dinner (organized group meal).

Overnight Stay: Relax at the accommodation arranged by the company.

Day 2: Exploration and Cultural Immersion

Morning:

  • 7:00 AM: Early breakfast.
  • 8:00 AM: Visit the Kapil Muni Temple for prayers and rituals (if desired).
  • 9:00 AM: Take a walk around the local market, interact with the fishermen, and explore the unique culture of Sagar Island.

Noon:

  • 12:00 PM: Visit Ganga Sagar Beach, enjoy the calmness, relax or take part in a beach activity (organized by the company like beach volleyball, or simply strolling along the shore).
  • 1:00 PM: Lunch at the local food outlets arranged by the company.

Afternoon:

  • 2:00 PM: Enjoy a boat ride around the island, explore nearby small islands and get an insight into the local marine life (organized by "Salt and Sea Adventures").
  • 4:00 PM: Explore the mangrove forests (if possible), and spot local wildlife.

Evening:

  • 6:00 PM: Return to the accommodation for rest.
  • 7:30 PM: Evening cultural program (local performances or bonfire, depending on the package).

Overnight Stay: Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the accommodation arranged by the company.

Day 3: Adventure & Return to Kolkata

Morning:

  • 7:00 AM: Early breakfast.
  • 8:00 AM: Participate in optional water sports like kayaking or jet-skiing (organized by the company if available).
  • 10:00 AM: Visit the nearby Sunrise Point (if interested) or explore the nature trails for birdwatching.

Noon:

  • 12:00 PM: Check-out from accommodation and head back to the ferry terminal.
  • 1:00 PM: Ferry ride back to Namkhana.

Afternoon:

  • 2:00 PM: Arrive back at Namkhana and take the vehicle back to Kolkata.
