  • Evening: Explore the nearby Baba Banda Bahadur Memorial and enjoy a peaceful evening by the Godavari River.

Day 2: Historical and Religious Sites

  • Morning:

    • Visit the Kandhar Fort, a historical site built during the Rashtrakuta period, offering panoramic views and a glimpse into medieval architecture.
    • Explore Nanded Fort, located by the Godavari River, which served as a prominent stronghold during the Maratha era.
  • Afternoon:

    • Head to Aundha Nagnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, located about 65 km from Nanded.

    • Return to Nanded and visit local markets to shop for traditional artifacts and souvenirs.

    • Visit the Mahur Fort and Temples, about 130 km from Nanded. The fort offers stunning views, and the nearby temples, including the Renuka Mata Temple, are spiritually significant.

    • Relax at Sahastrakund Waterfall, a picturesque location perfect for nature enthusiasts and photography.
  • Evening:

    • Return to Nanded and enjoy local Maharashtrian cuisine at a traditional restaurant.
