  • The best time to visit Badami, Karnataka, is during the winter months from October to March, when the weather is cool and pleasant, with temperatures ranging between 15°C and 30°C. This period is ideal for exploring the town’s ancient cave temples, monuments, and natural landscapes comfortably. Summers (April to June) are extremely hot, with temperatures soaring up to 40°C, making outdoor activities less enjoyable. Monsoons (July to September) bring moderate rainfall, adding greenery to the surroundings but can make travel challenging due to slippery terrains. For the most comfortable and memorable experience, plan your trip during the winter season.

  • By Air: Nearest airport is Hubli Airport (105 km), with taxi or bus connections to Badami.
