Days Plan

Morning: Arrive in Bhubaneswar and check in to your hotel. Begin your journey to Chilika Lake, approximately 100 km away. Stop at Dhauli Shanti Stupa, a serene Buddhist monument, en route.
Afternoon: Reach Chilika Lake and check into a resort or guesthouse. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, exploring its scenic beauty and vibrant birdlife. If in season, visit Nalabana Bird Sanctuary.
Evening: Spend time by the lakeside, enjoying the stunning sunset views. Return to your accommodation for dinner and rest.

Morning: Start with a boat ride to Kalijai Island, known for its temple dedicated to Goddess Kalijai and serene surroundings. Engage in birdwatching and soak in the tranquility.
Afternoon: Head to Satapada to spot Irrawaddy dolphins in their natural habitat. Enjoy fresh seafood at nearby local eateries.
Evening: Return to Bhubaneswar, stopping at Barkul for panoramic views of Chilika Lake. Continue your journey or stay overnight in Bhubaneswar.

  • Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the resort and take a leisurely walk along the lakeshore. If time permits, shop for souvenirs like pearls and handicrafts.
  • Afternoon: Check out from the resort and drive back to Bhubaneswar. Depart for your onward journey.
