Day 4: Scenic Spots and Religious Sites

  • Morning:
    • Visit Chausath Yogini Temple, located on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of Omkareshwar and the surrounding area.

    • Explore nearby Narmada Udgam Temple, where the Narmada River originates. It is a peaceful and sacred place for pilgrims.

    • Attend the evening Aarti at Omkareshwar Temple and experience the spiritual atmosphere again.

    • By Air: The nearest airport is Indore Airport, about 77 km away. It is well-connected to major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bhopal.

    • By Train: The nearest railway station is Omkareshwar Road (12 km away), with trains connecting it to major cities. Alternatively, you can travel to Khandwa (about 50 km) and take a taxi to Omkareshwar.

    • By Road: Omkareshwar is well-connected by road. You can hire a taxi or take a bus from Indore, Khandwa, or other nearby cities.
