Days Plan

Day 1: Lucerne and Mount Pilatus

  • Morning:
    • Arrive in Lucerne and start by exploring its medieval Old Town with cobbled streets and beautiful buildings. Visit the Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument.
  • Afternoon:
    • Take a scenic boat ride on Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad, then ride the cogwheel train or cable car to Mount Pilatus for panoramic views of the Alps. Enjoy some hiking or just relax at the summit.
  • Evening:
    • Return to Lucerne and explore its quaint streets, or enjoy a lakeside dinner with views of the mountains.

Day 2: Zermatt and the Matterhorn

  • Morning:
    • Travel to Zermatt, a car-free village at the foot of the Matterhorn. Spend the morning strolling through the town, taking in the stunning Alpine scenery.
  • Afternoon:
    • Ride the Gornergrat Railway for breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and surrounding peaks. Alternatively, you can visit the Matterhorn Glacier for skiing or snowboarding (seasonal).
  • Evening:
    • Enjoy a relaxing evening in Zermatt, with traditional Swiss cuisine at one of the mountain restaurants.

  • Morning:
    • Travel to Interlaken, a beautiful town nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, surrounded by mountains. Take a boat ride on Lake Thun for scenic views of the Alps.
  • Afternoon:
    • Head to Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen, charming villages in the Jungfrau Region. If you’re up for it, take the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe) for stunning panoramic views of glaciers and snow-capped peaks.
  • Evening:
    • Return to Interlaken and enjoy a cozy dinner in one of the local restaurants.
