    • From Mangalore to Udupi:
      • Hire a taxi (approximately ₹1,500–₹2,500).
      • Take a direct bus or train from Mangalore to Udupi.

    Udupi has its own railway station (Udupi Railway Station), part of the Konkan Railway Network.

    • Key Trains:
      • From Mumbai: Konkan Kanya Express, Matsyagandha Express.
      • From Bangalore: Karwar Express, Mangalore Express.
      • From Delhi: Nizamuddin-Goa Express (via Mangalore).
      • From Goa: Several trains connect Goa to Udupi along the scenic Konkan route.
    • The station is about 5 km from the city center; local transport like taxis and autos is easily available.

      • Route: NH 66.

      • Distance: 400 km (7-8 hours).
      • Route: Bangalore → Tumkur → Hassan → Chikmagalur → Udupi (NH 75 and NH 66).
      • Options: KSRTC luxury buses or private overnight sleeper coaches.
    • From Goa:
      • Distance: ~300 km (6-7 hours).
      • Route: NH 66 via Karwar.
